Date:

Wednesday, November 15, 2017, 1:00pm to 1:50pm

Location:

Kresge 202B

The session will be facilitated by Nancy Kane, DBA, Professor of Management, Department of Health Policy and Management, who will be discussing when a lecture-based approach is a good idea, and when a more interactive approach is preferable, and the evidence for each.

She will be joined by Mishka Makuch, MSW, MPH, Learning Designer, who will model online student engagement resources and tools.

We will also offer an optional post-workshop activity for participants who are interested in learning about tools available in Canvas for further engaging students.
